February 2^nd is upon us once again, which means that the time has come to turn to that official weather predicting rodent we all know and love, Punxsutawney Phil. Whether you're hoping for an early spring or preparing for six more weeks of winter, we have a few ideas to create your own celebration. And maybe we'll make the trek to Punxsutawney for next year's festivities together.

New Years Day Hangover Party

Still recovering from last night's soiree but have a slew of folks you're obligated to see this New Year's Day? Chances are many of your friends are in the same boat. So today, gather the gang together and make a party out of getting over that nasty hangover. The name of the game is comfort and wellness, so put on the sweats, keep the music low, and have plenty of pain relievers and hydrating drinks on hand.

DECORATIONS

• Stick with black, silver, and gold for your color scheme- paper products, table cloths, streamers, and balloons.
• Cover tables in your party area with plain black tablecloths. Sprinkle glitter or shiny confetti on top.
• Scatter tons of tea light candles all over your party room. Use this as your primary source of light.
• Have plenty of noisemakers and confetti ready for when the clock strikes 12!
